Kvartyrnyk SE-UA is a community initiative in Sweden that brings together contemporary Ukrainian and Swedish culture while mobilising support for Ukraine. We host events — "kvartyrnyks" — with guest speakers, Ukrainian writers, artists and musicians in Stockholm and other Swedish cities. Every event supports Ukraine's defence forces in cooperation with established partners.
Founders
Roman Nahuliak is the patriarch of the Ukrainian gothic club Hammadion, one of the founders of the Ukrainian Volunteer Hub in Stockholm, a Senior of Trust in the Ukrainian scouting organisation Plast, and the author of the poetry collection Retort of Tears.
Yanina Zelenska is a theatre director, playwright and visual arts researcher, co-organiser of the Kurbas.Technologies theatre festival and artistic director of the School of Theater Magic project. Today Yanina curates art projects and is a co-founder of the KVARTYRNYK SE-UA initiative, where she is responsible for the cultural and performative side of the project.
Olena Rogozina is a strategist working in Swedish business, engaged in cultural and commercial initiatives between Sweden and Ukraine.
